From 2003 through 2007 I developed and taught online courses in writing and editing web content for the International Webmasters Association at eclasses.org. I currently offer these basic and advanced level courses on an individual or group basis. Each course lasts six weeks, and no textbooks are required.

The Web Content Writing and Editing course is basic introduction to what's involved in writing for the web and how it is different than writing for other media. The course utilizes examples, discussions, and writing exercises designed to demystify the art and science of effective writing and editing for a web audience. There is extensive interaction with the instructor. Up to 25 people may participate in a group session.

Rates:  Individual - $150  |  Group (5 or more) - $100 per person

The Web Writing Workshop is a more advanced, hands-on exercise in developing the concept and goals for a website (real or fictitious) as the basis for writing content for the site. There is extensive interaction with the instructor and, in classes with more than one participant, peer review as well. Up to 12 people may participate in a given group session. A prerequisite for the Workshop is either completion of the Web Content Writing and Editing course or equivalent training or experience with web content.

Rates:  Individual - $225  |  Group (5 or more) - $175 per person
